So, you want to learn more about me?

I became interested in photography at age 8 - always playing with the family camera, taking pictures of my friends skateboarding, taking family pictures for the christmas card, etc..

I didn't start taking photography seriously till my junior year in high school. I purchased my own point and shoot camera, and started taking pictures all of the time.

I purchased my first DSLR my senior year - on October 15th, 2008 - so I could take better pictures at the Packer football game I was going to. I immediately knew this would be my passion for the rest of my life. I decided to turn my photography into a business on December 31st, 2008, and captured my first paid portrait session on April 12th, 2009.

I remember all of these dates because they are important to me. They are the founding blocks that have made me successful today.

I would like to think I have improved tremendously since I started, my portfolio exemplifies this.

I don't have a BFA from a fancy art school, and I don't have 20 years of experience. What I do have is a positive attitude, eagerness to learn all I can, and a natural talent for photography. I am going to school for a degree in Marketing, which I plan on using to promote and run my photography business.

I love to travel! I've been all over the USA, Canada, and Mexico. I've lived in Lakeland, Florida for 3 years; New Brunswick, Canada for 5 years; and now Eau Claire, Wisconsin for the past 10 years.

Every Summer I go fishing with my family in Ignace, Ontario for a week. I love being outdoors. Fishing, hunting, even just walking. Its a calming time to just relax and think about life.
